Forest County, Wisconsin is located between Rhinelander and Iron Mountain, WI on the north eastern part of the state which borders the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Forest is known fishing, cross country skiing, fishing, swimming, water skiing, snowmobiling, ATVing, hunting, bird watching which also has Nicolet National Forest, Metonga Lake, Pine Lake, Little Rice Lake, Butternut Lake plus a couple communities including; Argonne, Crandon and Wabeno. It’s surrounded by 6 other Counties; Vilas, Florence, Marinette, Oconto, Langlade and Oneida.
